How

How the work gets made

Strategy is only useful when the person doing the work can explain it back to you.

I start with the business rather than the channel: what you actually sell, who you are really reaching, and how much capacity the team has left. Then we agree on the single idea worth building on, in language your board and your freelance photographer would both recognise.

From there I put the right people in a small room, chosen for this brief rather than from a standing roster, and stay close through the messy middle where good plans usually quietly stop.

One route, four moves

01

Listen

Intake before ideas. The numbers, the last two years of campaigns, the internal politics, and the version of the story your team actually tells each other.

02

Frame

One idea worth building on, written plainly enough that a board, a freelance photographer, and a part-time intern would all act on it the same way.

03

Assemble

The smallest room that can do the work well. Sometimes that is me and a shared doc. Sometimes a producer in Tacoma, a photographer in the valley, a developer I have trusted for years.

04

Run it out

Calendars, drafts, feedback loops, and the awkward middle, until the thing is live and someone on your side can carry it forward.

Engagement

The engagement bends to the work: a defined project, a season of support, or a hand-off once your team is ready to run it without me.Nothing that exists only to justify a retainer.

Long Form Content

Some stories need room. Articles, interviews, and longer films let a brand explain what it knows, show the people behind the work, and give an audience something worth returning to. I help find the right story and bring in the right partners to make it well.

Short Form Content

Not everything needs a long runway. Short video, useful posts, and timely campaign moments can carry a strong idea into the everyday. The goal isn’t to chase every trend; it’s to show up consistently in a way that still sounds like you.
